So every week just in case I run out of things to talk about I have a little list of extra things that have happened on Facebook or Youtube or changes in other social media platforms within the last few days. So this week we thought we would dedicate the whole whopping 9 minutes and 42 secs to this subject.
Big problem in the fast past world of Social Media all that stuff is so last week it’s not around or makes no sense anymore .

However I did look over those notes for 4 moths of nostalgic sakes and a few are worth highlighting:

Week 3:  ( Jan 26th)

Hey Jude: sung by a little Korean kid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsJCqD4lRc8
Have to apprecirate (the lack of r’s replaced by w’s)

I’m Yours(ukulele) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErMWX–UJZ4 (FAV)

Week 4: (Feb 10th)

Haiti was all over social media: Texters in the U.S. contributed $3 million to the Red Cross Haiti earthquake relief effort in the first 31 hours:

This was also a great time to get on Twitter in Canada as the talk, chat and socialization around the games made for a very nice subject change for newbies. It was kind of like tweeting a two week lonk Canucks game…. Maybe not!

And Avatar hit record $1 billion mainly due to strategic release of media clip release via Youtube . now has just broken the all time Blue Ray release… so is that like more than 5 copies?

Week 8: (March 15th)

Alexa Rankings had Facebook #1 over Google.

New clip for the twilight saga -Eclipse released and has hit the most viewed item within 4hrs that week.
Teenage girls still have the pleasure of waiting for this to arrive at the theatres.

Conan O’brian  still following only one person Has 680,000 people following at the start of his saga

Week 9: (March 23th)

Ipsos Reid says it’s official: “Canadians spending more time each week online than watching television.”: http://bit.ly/9lUiPp

Week 10: (March 30th)

If you want the good occasional laugh worth checking daily for a smile http://www.Failblog.org some crazy random videos

Week 11: (April 7th)

This week:

If you had not bought a $5,700 powerbook G3 in november 1997 and bought Apple shares they would be worth a whopping $1.3mill today

Can not go with out mentioning #boobquake

The power of boobs: http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2010/04/26/boobquake-facebook.html

Thousands of women are being urged to show off their cleavage over the next 24 hours to test an Iranian cleric’s claim that immodestly dressed women cause earthquakes.

Jennifer McCreight, a 22-year-old Purdue University student in Indiana, organized the experiment, dubbed Boobquake, to check the scientific validity of the cleric’s theory.

MIA video restricted by YouTube: The new video from the confrontational musician – whose Clash-inspired track Paper Planes featured heavily in the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack – shows armed US troops taking ginger-haired children and youths into a desert and attacking them. View MIAUK.com

Also Erykah Badu has a controversial video Window seat seen stripping where President Kennedy was assassinated in 1963: what she is trying to get across still not quite sure.
