How Sweet to be Tweet by You!

June 6, 2010 by admin

So like a lot of other people who post articles on their blogs, we all know how much work it takes, especially if you are trying to come up with original content all the time. I keep track of Google Analytics for all my clients as well as this scottpdavis.com site to see if what gets said makes a difference. Adding a poll, adding a video, changing a picture or changing the headline, it amazes me what can effect the readership or ReTweets of an article.

But nothing effects that stat more than an influenser, a person with clout, twitter credibility a big hitter. I just wanted to share with you the difference that one Tweet can make to the outcome of a blog post. This site on average will see less than 20 people a day visit (I THANK YOU very much if you are one of those people who in the past has). On Friday I posted and article entitled Careful what you Tweet on #Twitter . As of Friday a few people had read the article nothing more or less than normal.

Conclusion:

  • Don’t give up with posting article even if you do not have many people ReTweeting or sharing articles
  • Use Google Analytics
  • You never know who is reading you articles
  • Headlines do make a difference
